Think! introduces Zeology-tanned leather shoes

The Austria-based company, known for its European craftsmanship and commitment to responsible production, has partnered with German tannery Heinen to introduce a new standard in sustainable shoe materials.

 

Zeology at the core of the partnership

At the heart of this collaboration is Zeology-tanned leather, a material developed to eliminate long-standing environmental concerns in leather production. Unlike conventionally processed leather, Zeology leather is free from chrome, aldehyde, and heavy metals. It is also designed to be compostable under industrial conditions. Moreover, the tanning agent is certified through circular chemistry standards.

For Think!, the choice to work with Heinen and Zeology reflects more than material innovation. It marks a deliberate step toward aligning comfort, quality, and conscience in footwear design.
