Ted Louise wants to conquer the world with sustainable handbags

There is no lack of women’s handbags in the world, you would think. Still Liz van der Putten, owner and designer, thought there was one missing: hers. “I missed a bag in which every woman can directly find what she is looking for.” In 2019 she started her label Ted Louise.

Revolutionary Zeology-Leather without hazardous chemicals

Liz’ ambition is to gain worldwide success with Ted Louise. “When women discover our bags, I am convinced that we can sell them on a large scale, especially because of our story. Ted Louise bags are not just unique because of their design, but mostly because we have embraced the revolutionary tanning method Zeology. We use Zeology Leather for all our products. That makes us unique in the world. And because of that, we significantly reduce our CO2 footprint.”
